Jaywalk Studio developed a cardiac and thoracic surgery simulator for Abbott. Alberto 4.0 is the latest iteration of the device, which is currently being used for surgical training and human factors studies. A beating porcine heart can be integrated into the device under layers of anatomically correct skin, fat, muscle, and ribs. Alberto is designed to work in combination with the KindHeart Simulator.
