Jaywalk Studio was charged to design and fabricate two displays for Abbott’s HeartMate 3 LVAS, to be used by their marketing teams in trade shows. The Convention Display features a 3D printed heart model that houses the device, integrated battery storage and a reservoir that is easy to set up and break down.
A wooden frame architecture inspired most of these concepts, due to its ability to enclose the backer panel and to hide internal components.
The first iteration of the Convention Display integrated a different battery pack and robust hardware connections.
The final Convention Display streamlined the device’s connections and housed the internal components.
